- I participate in them from time to time, I really enjoy multi-day solo point to point adventures, creator and director of the Ghost Town 38.5 and the Ghost Town Double Masters ultras
- About Me:
- I'm an artist, distance-walker and author who's enjoyed some great opportunities for lengthy solo treks across amazing places. I don't participate in as many formal events as many ultra-walkers and ultra-runners, but I am closely connected to the ultra world through the Ghost Town 38.5 and Double Masters events. I was a professional ceramic artist for years and find that the artist may be retired from working with clay but she can't be suppressed altogether. When I'm not walking or writing, I am working on a line of totes and bags made from recycled blue jeans. I love to travel so the changes in airline fees regarding luggage have been a concern. To that end I'm designing some carry-on pieces made from an assortment of fabrics.
